That looks good, but these will be permanent, and would prefer them not to float.

bad boy, you could use the same plans as i did but just leave the barrels out and put in some legs to the ground.

B.B. - I don't think you would need much in the way of plans for a permanent slider. Determine your length, set pilings, and connect the dots with 2x6 lumber on end. Attach the sliding surface to the 2x6's.

yeah just like nate said, you can use trex board, (its the fake plastic decking stuff) they sell it at home depot and lowes, just attach that to the top of the 2x6s

I figured they would not be too keen on that there. have you asked Bates yet? he had a couple done at Elsi for that demo day. I am sure he has something.
