Supra 24 SSV

Who has one and what are your thoughts. We are looking at a few options and this is near the top. The wife likes it and we are planning to test drive in July. Let me know the good and bad comments.

Plus side:
- Roomy
- Handles chop well
- Throws great wake (w/ GG III ballast)
- Plenty of storage

Down side:
- swim platform leaves black residue (not an uncommon issue)

Pretty good boat thus far (50 hours).

I don't have one but am looking to visit a local dealer to get a better look. The one thing that bothers me is how close the divers seat and seat to the bow are to each other. Seems you have to do a hop, skip, and jump to get in. I would like to see the drivers seat swivel. Just the first things that jump out at me

there are no room issues on this boat it is huge, i am loving mine

Had mine over a year now and no problems what so ever. We mainly surf. But the "other wake" is good to.

awesome boat... great wake and very roomy. Best part about it is the price compared to other similar boats. get the wakeboard prop

I made it by the dealer today and I was very impressed with the 24 SSV. It was very roomy and the seating layout was different but I liked it. The fit and finish was much better than I thought it would be for the price they charge. I was told that all of the gages will be digital for 2007 and they are working on a swivel drivers seat in the boats. I think I like the idea of the Sunsport step vs the seat, but I did find another post where the owner built a sub box in the same area and used it as a step in and out of the boat from the entry plank. Overall I really liked the boat and it seem so to be a great value for the money.
