First off, I am not a MC guy and in no way am I trying to be a jerk about this boat.
I looked on the website and I saw the video in the wakeboard section, but I just do not understand what this boat is designed to do. Can someone please explain to me so that I am not an uninformed idiot?

A little bit of everything. Dive/fishing boat that still throws a decent wake. Or maybe a wakeboard boat that you can dive and fish from, either way it's a cross over boat.

It throws one of the best wakeboard wake in the MasterCraft line up. I would say its second to the X-Star. It surfs AMAZING as well.

It is a very very close second, amazing wake! Can be ordered with a tower, or a awning with rod holders, dive tank holders board racks etc. It is a great cross over boat. Serves as a great boat for costers that want to board, dive, fish, etc. It was out of the box thinking and I think it is very cool.

The wake looks pretty mint in that Body Glove video, MC clearly haven't lost their primary focus.

I can understand the idea of designing a concept boat like this. But do they have to make them such lame colors as pastel yellow & baby blue?

If you get a chance, take a pull behind one. I rode behind one last summer w/ stock ballast in deep water, and the wake was pretty outstanding. Kinda weird to drive, though.

It is a bay boat that throws a nice wake. Intracoastal/Keys/Gulf or Ocean on the very calm days.

Pastel colors are very popular in salt water enviroments due to the fading and oxidation but Im sure you already knew that.

Well, it's a center console...I would assume it's designed to be a great all around boat. Just like all other center console boats. This style of boat is very popular in the salt wather. MC is trying to capitalize on this huge market with their inboard version of a CC. I don't think it's a huge mystery.

I rode behind one in may and it was one of the most fun to ride wakes I've ever hit.
