just got back from a secret spot in northern cali. here's some pics. got the biggest wake yet with 3000 lbs. of ballast.

Rob. 3000 lbs! Your wake looks awesome. Where did you put all that weight. I have an 06 elite V C4 but only have close to 2000 lbs right now.

I surf goofy and have not gotten my wake to look that clean. The port side looks like that with no problem but the starboard has a real short pocket.

Wow 3,000 in a C4!!!

Last time I saw that much ballast in a boat it was in a 23 foot LSV.

the water color is a dead giveaway... That was our secret spot back in the '90s. and then waterski mag went and did an article on it around '99 or '00 not so seceret anymore still our favorite lake in CA (trinity is our 2nd fav)

i can neither confirm nor deny the location.

I was actually running 3285 lbs. plus whatever the center ballast is (200+ lbs). A few of those pics were taken with 4 occupants and some with 8.

I had two 750 lbs. fat sacs in the rear trunk with port side half full. Then I had nine 30 gallon sacs (aprox. 240lbs. each) spaced along the starboard side.
