I am seriously considering buying one but was wondering how durable are they? Do they scratch, chip, peel easy? Can you just replace the bad part if you do rip it or do you need to replace the whole thing? Any other info would be great, thanks.

From some fellas I've talked to they say that an expert installer can patch in new material to repair scratched areas.

They sure came up with some sick designs.

My question is do you have to wax your boat in the areas where there is the wrap or would it not serve any purpose and you are basically left with however shiny the wrap can get?

Edgar. the wraps are very durable, however they are vinyl, similar to the stickers already on your boat, if your beating your boat on docks and such you can tear them. They don't chip or peal easy, and they can be repaired depending on the damage incurred.

Andrew, there is special wax made by 3M specifically designed for the material, it does a great job, that being said vinyl will never be quite as glossy as gel coat, but only if your looking for it to be wrong.

you can email me with specific questions if you have them.

thanks
