Hey, I live on the north side of Spokane. I am always looking for people to ride with. We usually dont get our boat out untill the begining of May so until then I am hoping to be a third as well. We usually ride at Long for all of May and the first couple weeks of June, we then move our boat to the PendOreille River, our cabin is about 50 minutes from the north side of Spokane. Shoot me an email at mhsb1029@hotmail.com if you are ever looking for a third. Also if you shoot me an email when we get closer to May I can give you a call when I start going out.

What up! Wenatchee here!! Central WA kicks a$$. Banks Lake, other side of Rosevelt, is by far my fav. for riding around here in warm water. 65-80 water temp in mid summer. My sister lives up in Elk. brother-in-Law is dist. man. for Lowes and they come over to Ros. as well. we camp out just south of Electric City(Osborne Bay Campground)(WA State Parks run).$10 a night and $8 every other veh.. I also ride here in Wen the Mighty Columbia River. above Rocky Reach Dam they call it Lake Entiat, out behind Turtle Rock is Sick as HEll! Beaches and usually calm water, plus there is Lincoln Rock State Park for camping but this place is Mass packed in summer. already booked out this summer for most weekends. North of here is Lake Chelan. Not that great, glacier fed and very, very deep 1,997ft to be exact!, and although windy at times it has it's good days and is always packed too. there is also Mardon Reservoir just south of Moses Lake which is cool to. You've gotta come over to Banks with us and chill! all night parting and more riders at the camp site I think the better, more riders for others down time viewing enjoyment! We have a my boat in the profile pic and a 06' Centurion Wake Edition.

Man I tell ya I can't wait to start ridin' & campin' again!

PM Me for my info! let's ride!

Robert

I'll be on Lake Entiat and Roosevelt almost every weekend this summer. I'm in Cashmere right now working on the new ballast and stereo system this weekend. I'll be sure to post during the summer and try to meet up with some east side riders.

Well I am another Wenatchee guy that is always looking for riders. My wife begs for time off from driving. Now my 11 yr old and I are not the most exciting to hang with but we have a great wake and love to ride. We will be up and running mid March through October so if you want to ride on the Columbia in Wenatchee call 509-679-5441.

I live in Otis Orchards and have been on this forum for at least 5 years. This is the first time I have seen anyone else from Spokane on here. This is great! We really all should hook up and ride some time. I have been wakeboarding since '91 and have been without a boat this whole time so I am always looking for a pull. The good thing is that I have plenty of experience as a third!! ha-y-n, I just checked your profile and I see you ride on clear lake. Is that the clear lake just north of Cheney. My folks-in-law have a place out there. It would be sweet to find someone to ride with there.

I ride Clear occasionally, but it gets hairy out there! I only ride there when boat traffic is slow.

Clear is good early or late in the season and on week nights, the weekends are a zoo!! Looking forward to maybe taking a set with all of you locals once things warm up. Shouldn't be to much longer and I will get to break out the dry suit.

WHAT LAKE WAS THAT SLIDER AT JJAKOBER????????
Old     (jjakober)      Join Date: Apr 2002       02-27-2006, 7:17 PM Reply
The slider is out at Newman Lake, but it has seen better days! We had a sweet little slider park out there back in 02, but the guy that built it all sold his boat and jetski so it hasn't been used in over 3 years. Here is a link to a video I made from one of our great summers/winters playing on all the different sliders we had!

Jamie,
We have done the Sundown Marine ride for the past 3 years. This year was pretty mild weather. I probably saw you there. The picture was from 2 years ago when it was 17 degrees and snowing. Last year we rode every month but December.

Kirk, there are a lot of us riders over here on the left side of the mountains that ride all year, but there are days that we don't ride for obvious reasons snow, ice etc. dude you have got to be NUTS. Around the second or third weekend in Sept, there are a group of us that come over to Pateros for an end of summer thing. Keep an eye on this site in sept. for details. maybe see you there

Nick, my parents have a place at Seven Bays. I'm planning on being up there quite a bit this summer. We try to ride in the bay at Hawks Creek right by where your at. Keep an eye out for a white/yellow Sanger.

Kirk - that's just....aweso..uh...incred...I am at a loss for words. Snowing in the Tricities and you're hitting it- very very dedicated, especially since you have pretty good weather most of the time. I lived in Seattle for 17 years and miss it big time- the Columbia is the BEST riding ever.

Ryan definately will keep my eyes peeled for ya. I'm in a blue water with a pole so it's nothing special. I know right where your talking about though. Nice little area to get away from the rough water when the wind picks up there.

I already have plans of being over there the first weekend of July/4th of July. Big old party!

Gary,
We almost made that trip 2 years ago. We were invited by Travis F. I called but everything in the hotel was booked. Sounded like a great time.
I have been to Peteros before. Kind of a secret spot because there is really never anyone there... I guess it's just too much out in the boonies.
If you ever get East, shoot me an email. Maybe we can hook up.

Jamie,
This year was pretty mild.
Not too many pictures. If you are ever out on the river look for a black/ white Tige. We usually ride north of Richland on weekends and Columbia Park midweek.

Johnathan,

We didn't really use any plans, we just kinda winged it! I guess the best tip I could give would be to build it very sturdy, and watch the seams between the slider material. If you watch the video I posted above you can see my friend Malcolm get chucked out the front when his toeside edge catches in the seam between to pieces of PVC. The PVC actually went through his board. It was like a big PVC sliver. Luckily it missed his feet.

the good news about Saturday is that my new stereo components were loud at clear at 80ft. Now to build a fiberglass box to hold them. Sound levels in the boat were not too loud.
