First: I have a hard time loading the line with tension. I edge pretty hard, but I don't get much height. I can't even wake2wake, but i'm landing really close to the second wake. I need help in putting tension on the line.

Second: Any Discovery Bay/Stockton Delta wakeboarders here?

Peace,
Ittai

Did you read the article on wakeworld for heelside jumps? That would be a good place to start.

There are several things you could be doing wrong. You may be cutting hard early and then flattening out as you hit the wake. That was my problem when I started, and is common if you learned to ski first.

The second is that you may be absorbing the wake with your legs. You want to stand up tall just as you hit the wake to get the pop.

You don't have to cut out very far to clear the wake if you cut hard and get good pop off the wake.

good luck
