Sitting here 5 miles from the Delta, at home. Without a pull, had to take the wife to work and miss out on some riding. Wishing i could get an afternoon pull in, but my parents wont let me take the boat out. I think its time i sell some stuff and buy a boat and a place to store it. Wishing i could ride alot more than i do. Anyone else in this kind of situation?

The kind of situation where I'm married but my parents still won't let me do stuff? Nope.

Just kidding Bro! Yep, I know how you feel. I could always ride more than I get to these days. Once every couple of weeks doesn't cut it for me, but that's about all the time I have right now!

Its not that my parents dont trust me. I know they trust me, I told them i would even take over payments including insurance for the boat for the summer if they let me use it. But no go. I even offered to buy it from them so they could upgrade, still no go.

Sounds like they don't trust you to me. If they trusted you why wouldn't you be riding right now.

I dont have a 2nd or 3rd, my wife is at work and my 2 wakeboarding friends are at work. After much persuasion, they are fine with letting me take the boat. Just cant find people for today.

I want my own boat. Im so tired of riding at other peoples convenience. Don't get me wrong I am very very very grateful to anyone who lets me get some pulls behind their boat but its much nicer when you have you own boat/ski. I can always find a 2nd and 3rd, the hard part is finding the pull at the RIGHT TIME.

What I'd do to live 5 minutes from the Delta. The closest lake to me is an hour away. Now that's a bummer.

Start saving, buy a 2001 Ski Nautique and you're set.
