ok maybe i'm just very easily amused or have a simple mind but who else out there was pumped when there board shorts had a bottle opener on them! I've seen them on billabong and quiksilver shorts and i think it's an awesome idea! (pic if u haven't been able to experience my joy)

Dude! I thought I was the only one who noticed that, haha, my quicksilver have the same thing, but... its is just like yours w/o the bottle opener. It just has the sharp things. What is that for?

The sharp edges are for ruffing up your wax on your sufboard when your out in water..

I've got a pair of Matix board Shorts that have a bottle opener and two pull out beer holders in the pockets.

I have the bottle opener in my Quicksilvers too, but they are all black with "Quicksilver" spelled out in white script lettering. Nordstrom's, about $45 bucks. I'll try and find a pic.

They also have these new Reef Sandals out in a few different colors with an airpocket in the heel, and bottle openers on the bottom of both, but they also cost 40 bones. But definitely a wise man invented them

Just before anyone ask's, the small Hex key, that is sometimes built into the wax scraper, is for removable fins on surf boards, there's an idea, move it up a few sizes and it will fit binding screws, that always work loose at the wrong time. Now if they could just sort out a universal boat key and plug, the world would be sorted, oh and a face plant air-bag.

My friend just got those sandals on his 21st bday last night (from his parents..lol)
