Been shopping for boats(used b/tw '03-'06).

I keep seeing Supra's loaded with EVERYTHING with low hrs for much less (btw $35K-$45K)than the big 3 (Bu, CC, MC). I like the Malibu, personally, but have never been behind a Supra.

why are they so cheap? Whats up?}}

its a secret.... shhhh
Not sure that you could really use the word "cheap" with any competition boat on the market.

Great boat, just means they are probably not holding value quiet as well as the big 3.

Yeah to be honest the prices are starting to climb on Supra's now which is too bad, I guess unless you own one, cause if you do own one the value holds even better as the prices go up on the new ones. Really it comes down to they are not paying hundereds of riders thousands of $$$ in sponsorships and sponsoring so many events like some of the others. Yeah it is great marketing and that is the reason they (MC and Malibu) are the top 2 manufacturers in terms of production. That stuff is expensive and someone has to pay for it. Just happens to get written into the cost of the boat. All boats out are really holding their values pretty well right now. I know I am proof positive that jarrod is wrong cause I have had 3 Supras in 3 years and have not been losing my shorts.

I own an 04 22 SSV, In 05/06 they really started adding alot more into the interior, ie more billet accents, stainless cupholders, ect...that make the boat more up to par with the big 3 (Is the big 3 still MC, Bu , CC??? With the sales of Skiers choice they may now be considered in the bgi 3). Prices reflect that in 05/06 and even more in 07...I think you'll see resale on the newer Supra to be a little higher. Take a look at the interior of an 03 supra and look at the 06...the 06 is much nicer.

It seems to me that all skiers choice boats are getting nicer. The Moombas are where the supras were a couple of years ago and the supras are as nice as most everything on the market.

If you are finding used supras as far back as 03 for 45 then they are holding their value quite well.

If bought right, like at a boat show, the 21v can be had brand new for 45-50 loaded.

I have a friend that got an 06 for 46,900 with just about every option you can get.

Supra...

I was just quoted on a 22V. It was the exact same price as my 2005 loaded, X2. So...I would have to disagree.

The 22V is a new model and yes they are tackling a higher price point than the 21' market. It is actually closer to a 23' boat. Seating capacity it is wrestling with the 24' market.

comparing two different size boats prices two years apart isnt exactly apples to apples... but 50g aint cheap either, or inexpensive for that matter! a good value in todays boat market though!

The point is... Supra prices are right up there with the rest of them. List on the limited 22V with all the good stuff was 58K or something.

When I bought my 06 LSV, we compared a Supra 24 SSV. With similar options the Supra was actually 3K more. Used I have seen the Supara's a lot cheaper. I think it has more to do with what part of the country you are in. I think the Supara values are btter on West Coast because there are more.
