Booking for Worlds...need advice

I am having a hard time picking a hotel. I want to be close to the event site. Anyone have suggestions? Also is there an airline that does not charge for checked luggage?

I am down to The Point, or Ranada Inn International Dr. or Wingate by Wyndham airport. Anyone have suggestions?

Fly SouthWest no charge ever. as far as hotels I have no experience with any you have named.

If you want a hotel close to OWC get something on Orange Blossom Blvd. near Florida International Mall.

I have 2 furnished empty bedrooms in my house on Lake Holden. 10 min from downtown 12 min from OWC. Separate bathroom ,lounge, cable, internet, full kitchen facilities..... etc, etc. It is just my wife and I there and really laid back. If you or anybody else are interested you can pm me.

And Continental SUCK.

oh great! That stinks, I guess we will be shipping it then! I ended up booking The Point, it's a brand new hotel, looks really nice. Some other people we know are staying there as well. Ended up being $1600 for air, hotel, car rental and trip protection for 4 people.
