Anyone familiar with Smith Lake AL?

Going this weekend for my buddys bachelor party and wondering if there is any nightlife in the area? Also if i am coming from Jackson MS should I go through tuscloosa or birmingham. Satying in the Arley area.

depends on what part of smith you are going to. As far as night life, there is none around smith. It covers 3 counties all of which are dry (no alcohol). let me know where you are going and I will help you the best I can. If you are going to be around the cullman side feel free to come out and get a pull.

Hi Alex,
There is nightlife in Jasper which is not far from Arley.I'm not single but I'm sure someone else can chime in on the different places to go.I drove thru Tuscaloosa to Jackson several years ago but you might try GPS or mapquest to see which route is shorter.Have fun, we have a beautiful lake.
