07 marius or 08 marius

I can pick up an 07 marius for 100 right now in good condition or i can get an 08 for 200.

I know the 08 is supposed to be faster and more user friendly so i was wondering if it was worth spending the extra 100 for an 08?

I upgraded and like the 08 alot better. I would spend the extra $100 for sure.

I got my 07 Marius last year, it certainly is slow. But GREAT landings in the flat.

goride, you work at a shop? if you do then you should know the difference. its part of the job. you should even be able to look at a deck and get the jist of it even before you hit the water.

Im a snowboard tech and get hook ups.

I can tell they changed the 08 from the 07 and know the 08 is much faster but if i can get an almost brand new 07 for $100 i was wondering from ppl who have actually ridden the board if the 08 is worth it.

I think just because you flip a board over and can examine the channels, rails, fin set up, rocker, edges etc. doesnt mean youll know exactly how the board will ride. I def have an idea of how itll ride thats why i have choosen to demo the marius, marek, murray, and tribute because theyre all continuous boards with good speed and solid pop with the tribute being on the weaker side of the pop spectrum between the 4.
