Last summer I ripped off a chunk of my prop. Can anyone recommend a good shop to get a OJ CNC prop repaired? I don't know if it can be salvaged, but I'd like to try so I have a spare.

Send it to Seattle Prop- look them up on the web. They do a really great job and will balance the prop dead-on.

Send it back to OJ, they just reworked a prop for me and it turned out great.

I've used Tacomapropeller.com and they were very quick and looked brand new when I got it back.

From what I've read, OJ farms out their repairs & are no better than you can get locally.

Check your yellow pages (or Google) for a local prop repair shop. As your local dealers for a referral. There is usually at least one in every city.

I'm not sure I believe that OJ subcontracts the work. I sent mine in last week and called yesterday afternoon to confirm they got it. They said they hadn't touched it and said it looked like it would be about $85 for the repair. Got a call at 9 this morning to get my credit card info because they were done and shipping it back out today.

The turnaround from OJ with my prop was very quick as well.
