Ski Nautique 2001 - May have found one?

I found a man who owns a 1989 ski nautique. I asked him if it had the 2001 hull, and he was clueless about what I was talking about. I assume that it does, but after doing a little research, I am not sure. It appears just from NADA.com that Nautique made multiple models, including a barefoot model. The boat does not have 2001 stickers or anything, in fact he commented that that boat has been painted, because the title says it is red, when in fact it is blue. The title does not list it as a '2001 model' but neither does NADA.

How would a person know which hull this has? I assume it would be a great fixer upper. I read another thread about the hull spray pockets, but is there anything else? Maybe a finder's fee might be in order if I point someone in the right direction to buy it?
