Well I'm bored so here goes: Traded my beloved nautique SS '99 for 220 sundeck w/tower and 5.0l bravo 3. Been out about 3 times. Wake definitely worse than CC BUT not so bad. Even w/ a little wash can still get decent air but tough to clear wakes (wider and lower-no ballast yet.) Key purchase was wakeboard pro cruise-works friggin great. I'm a mediocre boarder can hit 180's both sides consistently and for this the boat is just fine w/a little more creature comfort than my CC-deeper gunwales for kids, ladder for boarding/head and fresh water. Not enough grunt for teaching skiers slalom but not bad wake for it once up to speed. miss my barefoot boom. I guess in summary if there was a local ski boat dealer I would much rather do that but the I/O wasnt as bad as I expected for boarding w/cruise control the shiznit. probably better speed control than V-drive w/out control.

Not bashing but why did you do that? I'm actually trying to sell my Sea Ray so I know about their ammenities but why the step backward?

Local dealer was main reason-not that they're that great but I am too lazy to trailer for repair. My boat was getting long in the tooth due to poor maintenance as well. Wife happier w/less spartan amenities and happier wife = happier everyone.

Yea....because God knows a boat is more important that a wife...

I have said it before and I'll say it now. If my wife ask me to sell the boat tomorrow, I'd do it without hesitation. I enjoy wakeboarding, but love my wife.

Congrats on the new boat Mike, I am sure you will have many hours of fun in and behind it.

E.J.
