LF Shane or Wait?

Im riding a caddy 135 right now and love it, I would just want something lighter and faster into the wake. I'm pretty much set on the shane but im thinking I should wait and get the 07 model when it comes out. I only have roughly 2 months of weekend riding left and think it's kind of late for a new board. Should I go for it or wait?

I'd wait until the 07's come out and get a deal on the 06 shane. the shane is a kick ass board, just don't take it on sliders...LF boards can't handle sliders, they fall apart!

ben, that claim is a tad outlandish man. Just because your shane fell apart does not mean everyone that owns one is in the same predicament. Although it does suck.

maybe a little outlandish, but everyone I know that rides sliders a lot, agree that liquid force boards just don't hold up. Example I had a byerly that I hit sliders with for 2 seasons and it's still ridable. My Shane only lasted me 3 months. My friend had a watson that lasted him 2. I'm just a little bitter I spent $400 on a board that fell apart in 3 months.

HaHa, Hell ya I would be bitter to having to ride the wives board cause my Shane that I paid 400 bucks for broke after 3 months.
That sucks.
