Mike likes to have a discussion with the wake before hitting it.

Mike also wants to make sure he is going to float if his drysuit fills with water.

Oops, he wasn't quite ready to hit the wake.

What lake is this? What was the water temp? Wish I had a boat all the lakes in my area are fairly small and covered in trees. They are sooooo glassy right now.

I need to hook up with you guys. I can't convince the couple of guys that I normally ride with that it is not too cold to go yet.
Looks like you had some nice water and some nice weather. Sunday looked great when I was leaving for work. I hate this dark when I go to work and dark when I get home thing that happens this time of year.

Different Lake, Another great WA Fall day.

A broken rib 2 weeks ago, but conditions like today could not keep him off the water.

I'm working on a compilation flick of riders from the past month as we speak. Hopefully, I'll have it done in a couple days.

This has by far been the best fall I can remember in Seattle.

What's with all the drysuits??? We just switched from trunkin' it to shorties this weekend in BC! Drysuits won't come out for a few weeks yet. Too bad we are running out of daylight in the mornings/evenings...

I ask myself that same question every weekend.

John,
Those are called AquaNot by Westone. They cost me $100 a few years back. You need to get them custom ordered from an ear doctor. They fill your ear full of foam to make a mold, then you get them in the mail a couple of weeks later. Jeff R. just got some made. You don't have to get neon yellow, but I did not want to lose them.

All of these pics are from the West Side...unfortunatley I'm in not on the east side of WA getting my last rides in for the year before our lakes freeze over. Since I'm currently in Alabama I do have a trip planned to Panama City, FL this weekend for some time on the water! Different from the west coast(not saying it's bad), but man the water temps are nice for this time of year! By the time I get back we'll be on the mountains in WA!
