Hi everyone!

I would like to find out the correct terms for jibbing, it is quite confusing

For now I believe the name of the trick in first come from how the rider approach to the obstacle.

If the rider approach on heelside, it is going to be backside.
is does on toeside it's going to be frontside.

After this, the second part of the name will come from which part of the board crosses over the obstacle first.

If the nose crosses first it is going to be boardslide ,
and if the tail does first, it is ging to be lipslide.

So for now we have

heelside approach & chest facing direction you go = backside board slide
heelside approach & back facing direction you go = backside lip slide

toeside approach & chest facing direction you go = frontside lip slide
toeside approach & back facing direction you go = frontside board slide

At this point I'm pretty sure I'm correct, let me know if not.

My doubt it is about where you start the obstacle from ollie.

I think it doesn't matter where you start, still the same names; just better or lower trick quality.

Some friends are telling me is you are talking about a lip slide you should get on the rail or obstacle from the side, not from the beginning.

Could you tell me who is right ?

Thanks, and regards from the other side of the sea!
