I'm assuming this is playing everywhere.
http://www.discoverychannel.ca/Showpage.aspx?sid=45238 This is the highway that I have to travel a few times a year pulling the boat to our ummer house although not in winter conditions. In summer a few of the hills can kill transmissions and over heat engines hence why I had my gas vs diesel thread a while back. Just coming home a few weeks ago there was 4 different trucks/campers on the side of the road with their hoods up. The worst section has an 8% grade for approximately 5 miles. Semi trucks go up these hills so slow you can watch the individual lugs turn. My brother's friend who fly's helicopters did some of ariel footage. Anyways, I know there are a few others on here that are from BC or Alberta that have driven it. Just kinda of cool and scary to see a show about what really happens on this highway.....and why I didn't think about it.
