Want to know if any of you new X-2 owners have plumbed your boat for that extra ballast? Or if anyone can give me some input on what are the best pumps and sacs to buy for this boat? I am not very familiar with them. Shopping around I just don't know what to go with. All input is welcome and helpful! Thanks

Shawn, how have you plumbed in the second tanks in the back - I had thought about doing this but never actually got round to being happy with a plumbing system that would convince me to go buy those extra tanks.

Cheers
Matt

Hey Shawn - where did you get those tanks? I am getting an 06 and I want to have everything automatic - I don't wanna mess with bags.

Andrew, something to think about while bags are more of a pain, adding hard tanks take up all your storage space....when they are empty they are still there.

How did you hook up them up to empty the tanks. I'm about to do this to my nauti with soft bags, but haven't figured out a good way to make them empty automatically.

That X2 has almost twice what the previous year's X2 (X1) has as far as interior storage. Its enourmous inside. I don't wanna have to mess with making sure the bags fill properly. Either way, I don't even have one yet so I guess I'll wait and see if I get it to figure out exactly how to add ballast. But good point. I just need to put stuff in it and see how much room I have.
