Did anyone else grow up with Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd? Where Elmer was always hunting rabbits or the Daffy Duck and Bugs episode where it was Rabbit Season! Duck Season! Rabbit Season! Rabbit Season! DUCK SEASON SHOOT! :-)

We have a pasture behind the house that seems to be a haven for cotton tail rabbits. Evidence towards that end...wascally wabbit:

Now being in the sticks we also get a TON of other wildlife - coyotes all manner of snakes and also hawks.

I couldn't get a clear picture but the two hawks were literally 6 feet away from the bunny. I kept going over different thoughts in the bunnies head like - HOLY CRAP NOW WHAT?! or Note to Self check for BIG A$$ Hawks BEFORE coming out of the bushes. Or the infamous DUCK SEASON!!!!! :-)

That's funny. Many of those great looney tunes cartoons are available in their commercial free unedited versions on iTunes, and I have downloaded most of them and my kids watch them all the time. They think its old school.

Wild America! :-) I got the unedited version of some of the Looney Tunes classics from NetFlix - SSSOOOOO politically incorrect, but what a great view of the evolution of our society.

hehe I work at national TV and we got couple of wild ducks just in front of our main entrance! There is no piece of grass or water area, only concrete tiles evrywhere, tons of people all day and they just decided to take a rest from time to time. Unbeliveable ...

and lots of rabbits and some pheasants are jumping around
