So thewakeplace.com says Steel is planning to take his w2w 1080 further. Seems like he must be going for the w2w 1260. That would be nuts! Anybody got some more details?

I got an email saying he was close....?

Somebody also asked if he had ever landed a 10 off the D/U.
I might be wrong but I don't think he did??

Steel is a character!

A great rider with an amazing support team. It doesn't surprise me at all to see his progress.

At 16 you are still growing and getting stronger. By the time he is 20 or so I don't even what to think what he will be doing.

Its amazing this 16 years old is actually trying to spin faster than what hes already doing. If you really slow down the video he actually lands completely backwards and slides the rest really fast so I wonder if hes riding any farther back, going off a double up or just completely going balls to the wall when trying this 1260!

It's about time some one is trying a w2w 12, since Danny landed the d-up 12 almost a year ago. For the first
time, I think wakeboarding will see a 1440! Not soon tho.
