i think they sick boats. the 21v has hands down one of the best wakes ever. they are not in the top 3 in sales for nothing.

I rode behind a 21 SSV at a comp in Dayton. I really like the wake.

The 22v and 21v both are great boats with SICK ass wakes. I've never been in our behind the 24v, but have heard really good things about that boat as well.

I have ridden behind and in the old 22SSV, the launch 21,the 21V, and the 24ssv. All are awesome and you will love. The company behind the product is as good as the product, which is great. I will be riding behind the new 22 SSV soon (right setser?) and I am sure will be as impressed.
Good luck!

I love my 21V!! I loved my 22SSV from last year!! They are the best boats on the water, in my opinion. They offer some of the coolest features, have great frickin wakes, won't force you to sell a kidney to afford one, and not everyone and there brother own one. So yeah, I like'em!! You won't be disappointed.

I rode behind a 2005 21V and the wake is awesome!! The wake actually took me by suprise because I wasn't expecting that nice of a wake. The interior is well thought out and spacious. Storage is good and the sound system is good. Quality appeared to be top notch. The only thing the boat needed was a higher pitched prop. The 21V wake and the MC 205V wakes are the best I've ridden. Yes, even better than the Super Air's but that's not to say the Super Air isn't a great wake. The Super Air is actually the largest wake I have ever ridden but because it is so steep I don't care for it that much. There's my 2 pennies.

I love the 21v, the only flaw is for pro level riders its hard to ride further back than 75 ft.

sic sic wake for those of us that will never be pro though.

I recently bought a 2006 21v launch, I couldn't be happier. The people that have ridden behind it love the wake. Great boat at a good price.

I recently bought my '04 22SSV. I love it. I'm still trying to perfect the wake w/ moving people and changing ballast (BTW all Supras have built in ballast) It seems a little steep for my liking but otherwise, I think its one of the best boats for the money. See the pic in my profile. I paid 35k as you see it w/ 200 hrs. If you need any more info you can PM me.

Great boats and great customer support. I don't think I've even heard about many bad Skier's Choice dealers. Crazy, I know.

BTW, thread starter's profile says he already owns one. Bait post, but they're still good boats.

I couldn't be happier with my 2004 SSV. My only complaint so far is that my wife keeps planning crap on the weekends that is keeping me from getting it on the water ! The wake is pretty nice too. Here's a pic of my wake with 2400 lbs of ballast and the plate all the way down. The wake gets a whole lot more vertical with the plate up.

The wake behind a 21v with the gravity games bags is un real , also Skiers Choice was the #3 selling boat in the nation for 2005.
And looks to stay there for 2006

Skier's choice is #3 because if Supra + Moomba. not cuz of Supra alone, right?

skiers choice? are they counting moomba and supra?

Here is a pic of my wake on my 21V. I am at 75', riding at a GPS'd 24.2, and I'm 6'0" tall. The lake re ride in is only 5-6 feet deep too. Frickin sick wake. Upload

Any one else ride with the plate all the way down?

I have been riding 70 ft 24.2 MPH with the plate all the way up for a vert wake and its my favorite wake really.

1200 pounds stock ballast plus 400 pounds POP in the nose.
Old     (acurtis_ttu)      Join Date: May 2004       09-26-2006, 2:35 PM Reply
I liek the plate all the way down or 1/4 up. I run similar weight to Nauty. I prefer a rounder, rampier wake (Malibu) but have supra money...I make do with what I got.

I typically ride with the plate at 3/4 up. That day I was trying to muster the balls to try a 3. Having the plate all the way down helped me to stay on balance a little more. With the plate all the way down it mellowed out the wake which made the learning curve a lot easier.

It's nice to have the choice.

You guys have really hit the nail on the head. There is no wake on the market that is so easily adjusted to rider preference than Supra's and similarily equiped Moomba's.

The wakeplate is super effective at shaping the wake.

I ride my 21V with 1400lbs of ballast (hidden, automatic) plus people and the wakeplate at dead nuts half. 75' line, 24.5 mph (non gps'd)....suits me fine.

I've had advanced riders and a pro ride my boat with that ballast and 8 people on an 85' line and kill it. I think I ran 25mph and the plate just below half.

IMO, the change in Marketing Directors and the renewed focus on marketing helped tremendously.

Quality, overall value, performance, styling in no particular order...and Michael Littman is a wonderful marketing asset.

I think we help big time to change that number. Lots of good customer posting their positive experiences on these sites.
With that being said, can I get my Skier's Choice goodies that I did not get this time around??????

I'll play the devil's advocate here then.

My experience with the 21v is been mostly negative. With 4-5 people and the ballast filled it's a very good wakeboarding boat. Any more weight than that and the wake washes over and it is pretty much impossible to keep the wake clean. I would never recomend a 21v based on the fact you can only have a certain amount of weight in the boat until you have to start emptying the ballast.

Those of you that pipe in and tell me that I just need to ride faster. 27 mph to get the wake clean is pretty much stupid. Falls hurt at 23-24, give me any of the other boats over having to speed up to 27.

Just a little something to think about if you're seriously looking at this boat.

Mabe that is why your name is faceplanter . try putting the plate down cleans the wake up i ride 24.5 with the plate at 50% with 2800lbs of weight and the wake does not curl . oh you getting a super air cuz at 22mph with the ballast full that wake dont wash out
Old     (faceplanter69)      Join Date: Mar 2006       09-27-2006, 5:46 PM Reply
The super air washes out big time, however with 2500 lbs of weight in the boat you only have to run about 24.5 mph. If you compare the size of the two with the same amount of weight, well there is no comparison.

Its all about the wake.

Here are 2 pics from Ed Gerdeman, Eastwood Lake MetoPark Manager, at the 2006 NWL Ohio State Championsip and site of the upcoming 2007 NWL National Championship. Wakes are from my 06 21V. What's cool about these pics are they really show what it looks like when you come charging up to the wake. You can see the whole series of pics at www.wakeboardmidwest.com - look for Dayton event.

...a VERY SATISFIED '05 21V owner! Now I am not PRO or anything, in fact that level right below amateur, that's me. I have had 1500# ballast and 8-9 good sized adults numerous times and can usually adjust the wake plate and have a nice clean wake at around 22mph. Surf wake is great too, dont get me wrong, its not an ENZO, but still a nice surf wake. Sounds like you already own one george silver, but love the playpen seating/storage area (i ddnt know what to think of it at 1st, but now I will never own a boat without it!) One thing I noticed is the hull seems to b deeper than some others which helps smooth out the ride in not-so-glassy water...And for the '07 line, Supra DEFINATELY stepped up their game on the color/graphics options...love the idea that you can have your Supra be all ONE COLOR now, (Pre '07 Supra owners know what I am talking about). Yeah, there are boats out there that may do 'this or that' better than Supra...But bottom line...Supra gives you the best 'bang for your buck'...BTW-dealer and warranty claims (minor ones thank goodness) to Supra have been GREAT! No problems with Skier's Choice or my dealer...MHO -UsoStyle
