For those with Super Air's or older Sport Nautiques, how far aft have you placed the paddle wheel pickup on the hull. The Perfect Pass website suggests in line with the bung plug in front of the engine - I just thought this may be a little too far forward.

I don't know for your boat, but I assume you know that to far foward could be bad (not in water during turns) and it needs to be away from turbulence from fins, pick up scoops etc. Sorry for stating the basics if you already knew, but i figured better said than drilling two holes.
