Shelby is good for riding, spent many days on the lake there as I grew up in Effingham. The soulrider crew takes a couple of trips to shelby each year. We'll probably make a trip. One of the members lives close to the lake and had a houseboat.

Carlyle sucks except for a calm day in the middle of the week. I haven't ridden there but it is similar to Rend which is worthless. I take it you're from the I-64/I-70/I-55 area. Hit me up if you want to come to Southern IL. Evansville, IL has some of the best riding in the state.

where exactly are you from?
carlyle is one of the worst lakes i've been on.
shelbyville is pretty good, except that the depth can sometimes become a problem. Lots of shallow spots.

im from effingham so we go to shelby every week. the calmest spot to board is always cove 3 that winds way back. it's always good to get the boarding done before you go to cove 5!!!!!!

Got a good friend that grew up riding on Mill Creek. He rides at Lake Centraila now. Never to Mill Creek by he says it is sweet.

Carson, my parents live on Lake Sara. Crappy lake to ride on, so we don't normally ride much there. They have the black and white Tige 21i near the marina by the dam.

Taylor rode Carlyle several times and you can find some good water there sometimes.
