how to gps my perfect pass

i have a 2006 sanger with perfect pass. I am very curious to check my speed it seems alot slower than it reads any help with this?????

hold gps in hand
make boat go
compare speeds
adjust pp to read what the gps says

helps if your not in a current.

Make sure you going in a straight line

Down load the manual for PP take it with you go about 20 on the GPS and adjust the PP as needed while in the appropriate PP mode. Just did mine a couple of weeks ago and it was off by 3.5 MPH (too fast). Easy money.
