Anyone Have problems with skiers or bare footers, we got in a huge fight with a boot full of bare footers over who's stretch of water it was, everytime we'd go past they'd fall off obviously, don't get me wrong, I can respect them and what they do, but these guys were a###oles!!

here is what you do. go talk to them about barefooting. tell them you are interested in learning after watching them. get a lesson from them once or twice. during this you can talk about wakeboarding. once they get to know you better, they probably won't be pissed when they see you. and they may ask you to let them try your wakeboard!

I wakeboard, barefoot, slalom ski, wakeskate, wakesurf and kneeboard. It helps to pull along side and discuss it with them. Barefooting and slalom skiing takes perfect conditions where wakeboarding doesn't. That is one of the reasons why slalom and barefoot is not as popular as it once was. Most of the time the slalom skiers and footers are the dawn patrol. It can be worked out most of the time. Of course, jerks are found on both sides of this issue.

Then throw in a few tubers.

wakeboarding, contrary to popular belief of other watersports enthusiasts, does require very, very good conditions once you reach a certain level. I know I don't like doing rolls or tantrums unless the water is smooth. I like to have a consistant wake so i know what to expect as I leave the wake. Saying that wakeboarding doesn't need perfect conditions is like saying that open water slalom doesn't either. yes, you can ride in choppy water, but no you can't perform to the best of your abilities.

anyway, go talk to the fellas and let us know what happens
