Has anyone ridden this fin configuration before? 2003 Belmont with only the center fins. How does it feel like? How's the release off the wake?

Are you thinking of just using the stock fin in the center or something else. Stock fin seems a bit small to use just one. IMO. The more common change seems to be riding it with the center fin out if you want a looser board. If you want an even looser board I guess you could run with just the small center fin… not sure how well the board would edge though. Only one way to tell.

What feel are you going for? That would be really loose when on edge. If you want a loose feel I would remove the center fin and keep the outer fins.

yea most who have the belmont usually remove the middle fin and go with four outside fins ..they seem to like it that way but its loose for sure..never heard of doing it the opposite way..

riding my belmont is more fun without fins at all for a really loose ride , right now i'm just using center fins cause i don't want to take more of a chance falling into the ice cold water

Thats an interesting proposition, but personally, I like my 141 with all six. Probably just because I'm still learning (beginner). Just got back from the lake about 15 minutes ago. 4 hours of pure butter!!!

I can't remember for sure, but I'm pretty sure Chris Dykmans rides with only the center fin..

Chris rode the Belmont most of last year with a center fin only. He used the .7's. He likes his boards with a real loose feel.
