Blacks spots are appearing on my seat cushions. I have tried everything to get them off. Fantastic, Goof Off, Ammonia/peroxide/water, Acetone. Anybody have any other ideas?? Someone told me that it needs to be steam cleaned off. What's up with that??

you could try some industrial hand cleaner - I used this citrus based stuff from the auto parts. It's a lotion, but it has some abrasive agent mixed in. I have used it for mildew before, but if Goof Off didn't work, then I'm not sure it will work for your application.

3m has some new marine products out this year to Clean and Prevent mildew. I have not yet used this product but I have always been happy with all of their products.
And the best prevention for this and other hull problems is always plenty of ventilation.

Had the same problem a week ago. I had to use Soft Scrub with Bleach, I know, a big no no but it was the only thing that worked. Just condition the hell out of the vinyl afterwards.

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. You wont be disappointed. It is amazing how well this works on cushions. Just don't try it on any shiny surface, like the hull or tower.

Already tried it. The magic Eraser cleans alot, but didn't even budge this stuff. I'm gonna try some 80 grit sandpaper...........Just kidding

You need to address the mold problem why is mold growing in your boat?

Are you covering your boat while it is wet? Make sure everything is dry before you close it up. Sun should kill the mold, but may be reforming when you cover the boat back up.

Hush Tim. You are right though, it sat for almost 3 months without Damprid replenishment. Needless to say, it won't go that long again!

It's partly your fault it doesn't get used enough!

By the way the black spots are Spider PooP. We get it alot at our boat dock. Water blasting the spiders gets rid of it. I use babes boat soap. Must better than anything else including fantastic.
