Trouble changing my oil

I'm changing the oil on my super sport. I have the pump, hooked it up to the dip stick and started pumping... after several min. of pumping nothing happened. This is with a hand pump. Also a week ago or so I tried doing the same thing with a pump using a drill, after wearing down two batteries same thing... I had nothing. Is there something with nautique I don't know about when it comes to changing oil. Any thing would help I really don't want to go to the dealer to get it done.
