IF you know exactly what boat (make, model, and options) that you want, then the boat show is a great time to buy. If you are in the market for a new boat but have yet to do your homework like demos, then no, but then again, no time is a good time to buy if you do not know what you want.
Winter, no matter what. November - February. Used, you can probably start in October, but boats will go up in price in March (5K in March, 10K in April - Arizona). Also, anytime during the downturn of a recession
If you want to order out a boat and not pick from one on the lot, the best time is November for a Dec/January build. You will get your best deal then. Boat show is behind that for new and sometimes better on a left over and then a close out or demo.
"Plus I went to tech too so I'll give him a better discount."
Thats what im talking about. lol. thanks for the input but i was looking at the new malibu mxz. im trying to get rid of a 01' malibu wakesetter and a 2006 ranger comanche bass boat myself.
i have had good luck buying just as my dealer was placing his yearly order. Seems easier to get them to really cut pricing if they can get there volume discount by getting another boat on the order. i ordered my new enzo 244 in november, and i just came in, so now i have some flooring time with the dealer to trade in my boat and look for the financing i want. good luck
Sounds like a good problem to have haha. I'd say you can get into April before the prices get higher. I got mine in may but it was a dealer leftover and a year model older. Good luck on your search. Are you going to the Dallas boat show?
no i wish just going to the one in odessa,tx but i hear its a good one. hopefully there will be more than just malibu and tige. Anyone heard how about the odessa boat show?
