I think I have decided to go with the Lyman board this year but can't decide between the 135 and 139, I am coming off a 134 substance. I weigh about 155 about 5'6. Any Suggestions on which one to go with? I am wanting something with a little more pop and a little more give on the landings.

I see you've got it narrowed down now. I can't decide between the 135 & 139 either.

I think the 139 will definitely give you "a little more pop and a little more give on the landings." And like you've said before the 135 won't be that much difference than your Substance 134.

You could go either way...just like everyone will tell you its just what you like to ride a big or small board....I'm torn now...I currently have the 139 and it has a really wide stance all the way out. I haven't gotten a chance to ride it yet tho. I'm 5'8" 140ish and I've been on a 137 to 138 over the past few years. Either way it will be a sweet ride from what i've heard...you can't go wrong.

Both of us are 5'6 160lbs so we're a little heavier than you but shorter. The weight range on the 135 is up to 170. One thing I was worried about was the width of the stance all the way out. The 135 is only half an inch less in the stance so it might not matter that much.

when in doubt go bigger. a bigger board will have more surface area which will give you more pop and softer landings. The Lyman boards are made for landing in the flats so they all have soft landings anyway. I ride the 143 but im 6'2" 205lbs. I absolutely love this board. It's super fast but still easy to control, especially with the inside fins on.
