renting a surf board ?

anyone know if there are shops that rent surf boards in the Tracy to Stockton area. A friend of mine wants to try it but doesn't want to buy a board right now.

Have you asked about doing a board demo Mossdale boats? Last I heard, they had a pretty big board inventory. If you're willing to go a little past Stockton, check out DWC at Tower Park.

Haven't checked Mossdale, but the guy that is looking to rent one puts his boat in at Tower Park. thanks for the info

No problem Brian. We'll be at Tower Park all weekend, starting tonight. We can probably help you out with an introduction to surfing and I've got an IS Blue your friend could ride in exchange for a couple waves. If you're out this weekend...look for us.
