whats wrong with the board? besides the fact that its not brand new? is it light? hows the pop? smooth landings?

Including 2004 models, the belmont has undergone two design changes since then, but the 2000 design isn't necessarily out of date. They still use that mold on the 2003 motive. It's light (lighter than the 2002 model). The pop is good (if continuous is your style). The newer boards are designed to land softer but it's not going to be noticable unless you are going super-huge.

how do i know if continuous is my style? i know you naturally get more pop of a 3 stage, but how is continuous different in style? (i know continuous is one long curve and 3 stage is more abrubt.) thanks jarrod

If you are a relatively new rider, I would stick with continuous because of predictability. Consistency is important when you're learning fundamentals. I switched to 3-stage in my third season. Experience and time on the water will help you determine your style. You can't go wrong with that board though. Keep in mind that 2003's will be selling at close-out prices soon.

The '00 Belmont is Money. I still break it out occasionally because it was such a fun board. It is very consistent and will not mess you up. It has a huge pop too so don't sweat it. That guys comment on the graphics is lame. Who cares about that, it's all about how the thing rides. I've ridden a bunch of boards and it's still one of my favorites. I like it more than the '02/'03 Belmont.

Jordan. As long as it hasn't been on sliders, that is a good deal for sure. You're welcome.
