Hey Guys and Gals, I was wondering if there is anything I can do to my engine to improve the wake produced by it. I have a 65hp outboard, see my profile pic to see the boat I ride behind. Is there anything I can do to the engine or is it just a matter of adding weight to the boat?

There's nothing you can do to your engine to make a bigger wake BUT...the weight you add to make a bigger wake might require more from your engine.

So:

1. Add weight.
2. Get a lower-pitched prop.
3. Get a hydrofoil stabilizer thingy.

The first will increase the wake. The second and third will help you plane once you've added the weight. Any hydrofoil stabilizer will be fine except the SE-Sport SE300 or whatever it's called. That one will help you plane but will probably decrease your wake too because of its design.
