WHat is the closest board to a Ricky G in weight, ride and feel, but with softer landings?

A larger Ricky G. or you can get an ERA or older Premier.

xtremrider, try endo's in long beach. they may let you demo.

in orange county, you can go to watersports warehouse.

in murrietta, you can demo from southern california water sports.

also, if you go out to the inland empire, try greenhouse ride shop in norco. i'm pretty sure they demo.
