I was planning on building my first rail this summer and I recalled reading an article about how to go about doing that in Wakeboarding Magazine. I've skimmed through all of my copies, but I still can't find it. If anybody could help me find it that would be great. Also any advise about building rails would be real swell. Thanks! :-)

I remember that article. It must have been like 4-6 years ago. I will search my copies. In the meantime, you might want to try this link:

thanks, though i don't think it was 4-6 years ago because I didn't recieve wakeboarding then, i think. it was a proejects rail and I remember they printed their home depot receipt. thanks for your effort :-) i'll take a look at that discussion. i've been helped so many times in the past by this board :-)

I found it! April 2004, that's three years ago, so your estimate was close! It was hard to find because it was bunched in with the other "Higher Learning" stuff. even though i've found it, i'd still like to invite suggestions! thanks for your responces! :-)

The Feb 2006 issue of Alliance Wakeboard has a great article detailing the materials and a "how to build" description of four of the famous rails at the projects and two of their pools for the Byerly event.

Very useful.
