It seems like a cool option but do you actually use it? Seems like it wouldn't be the friendliest to use. Does it even reach the water for easy entry? Just wondering what actual users thought of it???

I think it's most useful when getting on the boat from a beach, not from in the water. Although I've seen someone use it and it does work.

is there room for an anchor up there? seems more well suited for that.

I just remember my friends ladder on his I/O back deck being a pain to get on from the water, and that was a lot lower than the bow of an X-star(I/O had a 3 step, and the star has a 4 step but would the extra 11 inches of reach make a BIG difference?). And it seemed like an odd set-up to get it pulled out of the hatch they made for it. That area might be better used as interior space or storage... Chime in X-star owners :-)

plenty of room for anchor or two. it goes in water pretty deep . most people up front use it to get in water to cool off etc.. great for gettting in boat after unload at boat ramp.

the nose of the new x-star is lower to the water than you might expect. especially when weighted down.. cannot find a pic with the ladder but these may help you visualize.. I didn't opt for the ladder but there is plenty of room for anchor storage.

So if one were to see the ladder on paper as a $500 option, would you add it or spend the $$$ on other accessories???

I guess $200 isn't too bad, considering it is a $90,000 boat...

Love your sarcasm on the Price, Chris.

I would invest in other options first...
