I have not rode with extra ballast bags in the boat. I hope it will give me that extra wake to get big air.
I want to get two Skylon fatboy's for the sides of the engine. There is 19" between the engine and the lip of the side locker. The bags are 20" in diameter. Wondering if these sacs fit well in the x-9.
Also, does the 1100 pump work well?

What we usually do is we put 2 bags next to the engine cover as far back as they will go, and then we put 1 bag up front in the bow(along with the stock ballast full). Seems to work well for us, just be sure not to drench the people who are sitting in the bow, as you know the nose of that boat rides low.
