We are about to redo our stereo and my husband is concerned we won't have room to install a sub on the drivers side (Shape of the drivers side plus we are tall, and he's afraid there won't be leg room)Anyone have any pics of a 10" sub I can show him? It doesn't need to be fancy just functional. Thanks in advance.

Jessica, I have a Rockford punch 12" sub. It only needs .85CF of air. Takes up very little room. You should look into them. I have the stage 3 model and 1000watts going to it and it kills.

10" fits with little effort. Move the heater to a higher location.

Boat is in the shop right now. My box is approx 8"deep by 14" high by 16" wide. It doesn't take much room at all.

I Have a 2004 Gravity Games and the space under the drivers console is minimal. I went with a downfiring custom box, and a JL Audio W7 for the sub. It did not take much room at all. I have a friend in the stereo business and he did it all for me. I will post pics tomm.

Thanks Chris! I would love to see your install. Yours too Tate when it comes back from the shop. We would love to do the install ourselves (can spend more on stuff that way.) we just need to see how it fit.

You should have no problem installing in a Pro-V
That boat has lots of space down there so it should be pretty easy. Travis's Pro-V looks real clean. I would copy his install.

Here is a picture of an 05 Calabria that I cut the top of the footrest off so I could have enough room to fit a box big enough for a 12". In retrospect I didn't need to cut the footrest off, but I did spend a lot of time relocating the heater and other stuff to make room.

or you could just put it on the passenger side like my other sub

And if you want a place to put another 6.5" speaker, you can push the cupholders closer together and put one here.
