currently riding '04 premier 136 premier w/'04 parks
I'm 6'2" 200lbs and I'm looking for bigger air! I love my board and also ride a friends '05 parks 140, and I seem to like his better. Landings, on mine especially, can be a hell of an impact a lot of times(deffinitely what wears me out in a run). I want either an '05 parks 140 or 144,or '05 141 premier should i consider a 144 really and what differences in ride are there? and what recommendations do you have?

a 135 is really small for you. And, a lot more work as it rides much deeper than the 140+

At your height and weight you could ride both the 140 or the 144. I would guide you towards the 144 but that's just my opinion.

The difference is more surface which should make the board faster (less drag) which means less work. On the landings, the bigger board should maintain speed instead of slowing down so much. I'm 5-9 175 and I ride a 140.

Why the Parks or the Premier? Have you tried anything else?

Chase, I'm 6'2" and about 205, I ride a Premier 141, and I really like the size. I broke my board at the end of last season, and had to go back to my old 134 Motive, and I couldn't land anything because it was so small. Anything at 140 or above should work for you, and as J-Rod said, it'd be preference above that. Also, one thing to keep in mind, each board rides different for each size, i.e. a TFD 136 to me felt better than the TFD 142, while I liked the premier 141 way better than the 136 (I think I was only about 180 at that time though, probably wouldn't feel that way now, but just illustrating a point).

Hey Bud,

I am 6ft, 190 lbs, I rode a 138 , 142 and 144. I am stuck on the 144 motive. I feel more in control and getting height becomes less effort! Landings are definitely softer.

I suggest trying both the 140 and 144, don't just ride one after the other on the same day, rather ride the 140 for a weekend then the 144 for another and make up your mind from there on.

Hope it helps

THANKS Safrican, the effort for getting height on the 136 had to be down to a fine science and when combining that with tricks it was hard to get consistent height with inverts, was possible but required way too much effort and now i see the problem!
