Prineville reservoir always warm, not too big, but can be choppy if too many boats come, get there early and its a joyride. Prineville Reservoir Oregon. Represent PVR.

Best 1. Delta - you can always find great water (Saturday there were 35mph winds and we found butta) 2. Shasta - tons of great water and coves, beautiful sites and warm water! 3. Bullards Bar - it's a mini Shasta 4. Delta - You can always find good water. 5. Delta - oh did I already say that twice? Worst place I can't give you an opinion on that ah okay I'll try. 1. Camanche - too wide open and no coves that are protected by wind. 2. Clear Lake - Every ride in the greenies? Lots of shallows and no wind protection! 3. The Delta - it's too crowded, the waters cold, there are monsters that will bite you and they dump raw sewage in there! EEEWW. (so joking, but really) 4 and 5, I have no clue! I wish I could ride your place this week Barry, but it doesn't look like that will happen after all. Plus the weather channel says its cold up there these days.

Big Cypress River, Caddo Lake. Beautiful lake and warm water...not too many alligators to look out for.

The Delta is actually a very scary place to ride. There are soo many things that can bite you in the water! Too many creatures that live beneath the surface.

I think my experiences are pretty much limited to the worst places: San Vicente - often too rough for the sky ski Parker - if you like playing frogger for real, this place is for you. However, there is one place that has its advantages but it is somewhat hazardous to your prop if you are not careful - I'd tell you but Steve Cowen would be upset with me and considering he is my primary source of riding - I'm not going to tell.

Good: Canyon Lake Backwater, Ferguson at Martinez Lake, Sail Bay in Mission Bay after 5:00 P.M. Bad: Lake Havasu, San Vicente after 10:00 am, Lake Buena Vista with Ranger D**k and just about anywhere in So Cal. My experiences are pretty limted, though i did meet a guy at Canyon who was a friend of a friend who lives in Disco Bay and am hoping to get up to the Delta next spring or summer. Can anyone give a brother a pull

Oh, I forgot to mention the Gitsumfunkeerash Reservoir. Pretty cool place, but the jelly fish are hated. Usually not many boats out though, and the water is a killer looking shade of red.

What a bummer, the best place in SoCal to ride is about a mile long if that, and maybe 100 to 150 yards wide!!! That to me seems crazy, when you go to the delta and you can go on that same narrow body of water for what,? a 1000 miles? I wish SoCal had more spots to ride, ok I am going to start a SoCal riding fund. Please send your extra cash, checks, etc made out to me! I promise to use them for gas money for my future trips to the delta!!! SoCalPunk and Team Valdez you are invited, let's road trip baby!!! Cheers
