I just sold my old board and am looking to buy some new gear. Ive looked at maybe putting money towards some new bindings, get some old bindings on clearance, a new vest... etc. What would you buy with $150 right now...

I would put it in a gas fund unless you really need something else

A Massage w/ a "happy ending"

In all seriousness, since you sold your board & if you don't have a backup save up for the 06 model of your choice.

I would save up to get something you really want new... start riding friends boards to figure out what exactly it is that you want.

I would buy a bunch of raffle tickets at the CIE Spring Ride to increase my chances of winning boat audio equipment, board racks, or new gear from a dozen different companies.

okay sorry....

Check Ebay, you can get last year's stuff at amazing prices. I just bought a pair of 04' CWB Boss bindings for $69 plus shipping. They called them used, but they looked and smelled like they just came off the production line. I also got a 02 CWB Absolute Plat for around $120 about a month ago. My skill level does not require me to have the latest and greatest boarding gear to make that much difference in my riding. And even if it did, I remember that the "Old-School Guys"(Byerly, Schwenk, Shapiro, etc.) were killing it on the boards that were made in the 90's. It's not the arrow its the Indian that makes the difference.
