We like it this way:

Factory Ballast, additional 300lbs in back, 300lbs in belly, and 300lbs in front. This seems to put out a big and steep wake. Good luck, I think you are going to love it!

What is each of your extra 300lbs in weight...Fat sacks/lead/other?

My boat is slightly different due to the smaller factory ballast, however, my buddy just got a 2003 Team and his additional weight is all lead. He has a tandem axle with disc brakes so trailering isn't a problem.

I use a combination of sacs and lead to acheive the same thing.

Here is a bad pic but a pic none the less:

Lead is definitely the way to go. It is heavy and a pain to move around... but once it is settled, you never have to touch it again.

I currently have an 03 SAN with the wedge tanks, belly ballast, and 400 lbs of lead. We went out with about 5-6 adults last weekend and the wake was great!

I think I am going to pick up another 400-600 lbs of lead just in case we don't have that many people with us all the time. I just need to figure out the cheapest place to get the lead and the best place in the boat to put it. I would definitely recommend at least 60% of the additional weight in the bow of the boat.

we run 250lb - in bow- (lead)
500-550 in ski locker(water)
stock ballas in back(flat tanks) + 500lb sack on top of each tank(water)
and i just got 250lb lead to go on the sides of the back seats--

ps. my friend and i only have a girls with us most the time- they only weight 100 or so each ,and we ride just him and i alot.... that why we ride with alot of weight..
