Hey, this is kind of a weird question but i have a 1995 Larson outboard and the wake isnt very good. I can get just enough air to do 360's and grabs. I was wondering how much a tower and some weight would affect the riding?? Bigger wake?? More height?? How much bigger wake?? Also any good ideas on how to add weight besides a fat sac?

Start saving for an inboard! it only took me 40 years but I would not waste money on something that will never be right no mater what you spend on it.

Alan's right! Your boat has to be worth something on trade? Start saving and selling now...then when you turn 18, get a buddy or co-signer to go in on an inexpensive (used) comp boat. Then you can start adding the goods!!!!!!!

Alex,
I have ridden behind a 18ft glastron I/O with a tower and a fat sac and it was fine. The wake is not the same as a inboard but it wasnt bad. The tower make a huge diffrence!

A tower or pylon will give you little extra altitude, as will sack or heavy friends. Both help with landing new moves.

If you can afford a big $$$ wakeboard boat go for it as the wakes are so incredible. If you are like me and have an older but paid off boat, a new one is not the cards$$$ right now and you can put a little money into it to stretch it out another season or two then go for the new toyz.
