It may have been posted already, but I just ran across this. Although a little childish, I still think it could keep me quite entertained. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00HyMxiYNKI

^^ I was thinking a wakeboard game wtih the same sort of controls/style as the Amped snowboard series.... but it is about time with one, and hopefully more realistic.... not that I can't throw the rope, boardslide a 100ft mountain top, transfer down to a houseboat, jib some power lines and get the rope back... but I just usually don't like to show off.

2-3 companies should throw in on making a game. Their riders and their boards in it. Good new marketing channel

Someone needs to teach the folks at Nintendo how to drive a boat.

people who play this game will do terrible when trying to learn to wakeboard, they will be turning the handle like a steering wheel. Was anyone else annoyed by the constant "Whoa! Nice jump". Can't they just have music?

how about a wii wakeboard game that uses the balance board for weight transfers (edging) and the remote for handle position or something like that. That might make for a pretty legit game...

whoa! nice! yea! good jump! I would be pissed at my boat driver, drive in a straight line, the wake is getting washy. I think i would get bored of this game after 3 minutes. I saw where tony hawk's new game uses a wii pad like thing that looks like a skateboard. seems pretty cool maybe they could do the edging with the pad and handle for tricks.

I have Shaun White's Snowboarding Road Trip game and you can use the balance board for it plus the wiimote(haha) for the grabs and airs and stuff. Pretty sick I thought

I'm sorry, but wakeboarding games suck... it's too linear of a sport to lend itself to videogame format. You ever played one for more than 30 seconds before you got bored? None of us have.

The sport is not linear. The Sport has so many different facets to it that it would be hard to duplicate a simulation of it.

If they could incorporate boat, cable, and winching into one game, holy crap that would be tight. Like you start out riding the cable and winching until you could afford a boat, etc. The thing is, when we we're talking to Murray at his camp about his game he said the producers weren't too happy with the number of copies sold and another one did not seem too reasonable...

someone should cook up a wii game where people learn to drive a boat correctly. For instance, you get docked points when you powerturn or almost slam your jetski into a rider. Just look at this intense equation I worked up: Wii Boatdriver + uneducated wii-playing masses = better lakes for everyone.

Can't believe I wasnt the first one to call out WaveRace... BWAHAHAA... Its warmuptime follow that dolphin We all know this wont even compare with Shaun Murray's game, but its good to see that they're still making videogames for wakeboarding regardless of how realistic the movements are.

"It's warm up time, follow that dolphin!" LOL, I remember that. I always enjoyed cruising the dolphin. Not sure if it was a cheat you entered, or if it was eventually unlocked.
