The 2008 Summer Slam Rail Jam is a three day competition that wraps up our weekly summer event, "Throw N Down Thursdays" at Wild Wing Cafe. This event will display some of the top Regional and Pro wakeboarders and wakeskaters in the South East. Riders will be battling it out for some serious cash and bragging rights. Also we'll have live music, entertainment like a stunt jet-ski rider, bikini contest, great food and beer just to name a few extras.

Schedule
Thursday August 28th
Who: “Live and Local”night. Local Knox Wake riders Wakeboarders/Wakeskaters *Must Pre Register on KnoxWake.com
What: Top 3 wakeboarders/wakeskaters advance on to Saturday's big show against the pros!
When: Starts at 5pm
Prize: Free flight, hotel and a week long trip to The Boarding School in Orlando Florida or cash money.

Friday August 29th
Who: Everyone is invited
What: Pre Party and ‘Best Trick” contest performed by Saturdays contestants. *Rails are open for Saturdays riders only. Drink specials and live music all night long.
When: Starts at 5pm
Prize: $500 cash "Best Trick"

Saturday August 30th
Who: Pro/Regional Wakeboarders/Wakeskaters ride for some big $$$
What: All day event with Pro/Regional Riders trying to top the other. Live music and entertainment, great food, drink specials, giveaways and much more.
When: Starts at Noon
Prize: $10,000 cash money

*Also a bikini contest will go on after the wakeboard/wakeskate final round. Winner will take home $500.

Boomsday Festival
Knoxville largest wakeboard Rail jam will be at Boomsday on August 31st, 2008. KnoxWake.com, American Boat Center and Mastercraft boats present a 30x300 foot on land pool with 3 different rails coming off of a tractor trailer truck. Wondering what it is, show up and find out. We are expecting over 400,000 people this year with over 300,000 plus in attendance last year. This will be one of the largest crowd for a wake rail jam to date. Come show your support for Knoxville wakeboarding and wakeskating. Pros from Liquid Force, Slingshot, and Hyperlite will be on hand. This is a free event to the public so no excuses.
