Entrust - definately. I just bought my first home, so I'm selling the boat as a cost savings measure. I will be picking up a replacement, however. Something a little older, and a little cheaper. '80s SN 2001? Sick ride by the way. Must throw a pretty beefy ramp. Love the all white too(for obvious reasons!)

This is my 2000 Mobius. It has a bimini top and I have added factory racks on both sides since this shot was taken. Not as nice and new as some on here, but she's mine. Jman PS: I hope somebody on here replies to my bimini top post so I can order a new boot for mine

Entrust, are you gonna put an 1100 in the front??? With 2600+ that will be insane. I cannot wait to see the wake with the 2 750s in there. I love the fact that they will fit perfectly i the storage areas.

For all the DD Moomba owners out there (outback / mobius LS)would you buy your boat again? Any major flaws? Hows the ski wake?

Ski wake is awesome. But since i have convert my dad to wakeboarding. I would buy the LSV or XLV. I have not had any major flaws. engine runs strong and no other problems at all. We have 2000#s of stock ballast and sacks. It throws a decent sized wake.

my outback was great for what is was and with like 1500# it had a really nice wake. but the boat was just a little small for me and i got tired of no perfect pass and auto ballast so i upgraded to the XLV

I'm completely satisfied with my Mobius. I'd buy it again tomorrow. I wanted more room than the other DD open bows had. The room in a V-drive would be nice, but the price would have been much higher. Jman

Room is something that is not in short supply on the XLV. We went from an 18' I/O to our XLV. I think our old boat could fit inside the XLV with room for a whole crew. All great lookin boats above!!!

Do you think the build quality of the hull, and the vinyl of the seats is good? Any rattles? seriously considering a used Mobius. Ski wake at mid and upper 20's?

Swerver, I have a Supra which I love but would not hesitate to buy a Moomba as my next boat. I ride behind a few of them regularly and they are the best bang for the buck. Vinyl is good, just not ultra colorful(who cares), seats comfy, no rattles. They're just a bare bones Supra, and I feel that Supra is an improvement on MasterCraft-better boats at a better price. Remember, Skier's Choice is owned by the former owners of MasterCraft.

Schooledrider- I agree with your professional assesment! I have owned two Moombas. Currently I own the huge XLV. I can honestly say I haven't had any major issues. I've had a few, very few, small warranty issues that were taken care quickly. I love my XLV. They increased the quality of the seats a few years back, 2004, and have been increasing the quality of them since. My seats are very comfy and holding up strong. They really are great boats for a great price. I plan on staying with Skiers Choice due to their commitment to customer service, build quality, price and dedication. I do have one question for you schooledrider, are you sure that Skiers Choice is owned by the former owners of Mastercraft? You may be off slightly, all good intentions though. Skiers Choice is management owned. And alot of the management came from Mastercraft who didn't own Mastercraft. Please correct me if I missed something in the history here, but I've followed it pretty closely and that is what I have learned. It's all good, glad to hear another talk highly of Supra, Moomba and Skiers Choice in general. (Message edited by kraig on April 08, 2006)

I just sold my 04 xlv and I loved my boat. I decided to get a supra 24 ssv but the only because of some small things such as swivel board racks, cargo rack, etc. My xlv also held its value real well, I keep in touch with the guy who bought my xlv and he is pleased with the boat, bottom line is I think you can't go wrong with a moomba

O my boat above is running a 12 inch marine sub powered by a 600 watt amp and the fusion combo speakers powered by a 1000 watt amp..... all internal ballast fills up to 1300 pounds with a flick of a switch..... soon to be added are perfect pass and wakeplate!! I love her and the walkthrough in the rear. That and the no playpen in the bow means you can pretty much go anywhere in the boat very easily!! Wakes is very good weighted properly and Ive had pros ride behind her and love the wake... throwin 9's, 7's mobe 5's and other crazy stuff.... then with no weight and higher speed.... slalom skiing wake is very nice for my dad!!! VERY HAPPY WITH IT

Entrust-I think that the best part of your boat is the fact that it is simple and clean, if anything, a white powder coat job on the tower would look tight. To everyone thinking about a moomba-best deals you can get on a wakeboat, you would think they are cheaply made because of the lower price, but definetely not the case. Put it this way-I picked up my 2001 mobius that is above, w/ a brand spanking new motor courtesy of the previous owner for 14,000. You show me where you can get a deal like that anywhere else and still have all the bells and whistles I have on my boat,(1200lbs installed ballast, wakeplate, wakeboard pro, sub, tower speakers, oh yeah and 70 hours on the new motor........
