Another Amp question

I just bought 2 sets of Liquid Audio Sony Front/Back speakers (8 total speakers) and this amp an infinity 7541a reference amp. Here are the specs:

4-channel car amplifier
111 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms (139 watts x 4 at 2 ohms)

278 watts RMS x 2 bridged output at 4 ohms (4-ohm stable in bridged mode)

front and rear variable high-/low-pass filters (32-320 Hz, 12 dB/octave)

Will this amp push all eight sony 6.5" speakers? Each speaker is 65-watt RMS 250 watt peak power capable. The dealer told me they would but I don't want to get screwed here and only have 30 days to return it. I am hopeing it is good enough. I really want to be able to hear the speakers while riding.

Yes. If the amp is 2 ohm stable, you could power all 8 speakers with it. It would provide roughly 70 watts per speaker in parallel at 2 ohms. However, be leary of those RMS numbers. When I looked up this amp, those numbers are taken at 14.4 volts allowing the manufacture to inflate their power ratings. Hope that helps.

I got my amp for cheap. I think if you want to add a sub later that you will need another amp, but otherwise the amp you got should be fine.

Right now I am running two amps. I have a 300 watt mono amp that runs a 12" Punch, and the stock Clarion amp running the 6 Sony Xplodes inside the boat. The amp I am adding will power the eight tower speakers only, and will be the third (and final) amp to go in the boat. Can't wait to hear your set up.
